About Us

The Garrison Animal Hospital was opened on April 1, 1990 by Dr. Debbie Eskedahl and has been serving the Aitkin, Crow Wing and Mille Lacs county areas since its conception.  Dr. Katie Baratto joined our staff in 1999 as a veterinary assistant.  In 2008 she received her veterinary degree and joined the staff as a veterinarian.  

Garrison Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care.  We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities and a closely supervised hospitalization area.
